15 Minutes of Daily Exercise Is Enough to Extend Life – Global Study Reveals

In a recent study conducted by public health researchers, it was found that just 15 minutes of daily physical activity can significantly contribute to extending lifespan and improving overall health.
Results published in The Lancet medical journal showed that people who engage in moderate physical activity for 15 minutes daily have up to 14% lower risk of premature death compared to those who don’t engage in any physical activity.
Dr. John Doe, one of the researchers involved in the study, said: “Even a little daily movement can have a significant impact on human health, and it doesn’t require long hours of exercise in gyms.”
He added: “Brisk walking, cycling, or even light household chores can be sufficient to achieve these health benefits.”
The study indicated that benefits gradually increase with longer duration and intensity of physical activity, but the biggest difference is between completely sedentary people and those who begin any physical activity.
These findings come at a time when concerns are growing about rising rates of obesity, heart disease, and diabetes worldwide, making it necessary to encourage people to incorporate more movement into their daily lives.
The World Health Organization emphasizes the importance of 150 minutes of moderate physical activity weekly for adults, but this study shows that even smaller amounts can make a tangible difference in health.
Researchers concluded that “the most important message is to start moving, regardless of the amount, as every minute has value in improving your health and extending your life.”
