In a new historic achievement for charitable and humanitarian work in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Saud bin Naif Al Saud, Governor of Hail Region, launched the “Awn” campaign to support needy families in the region.
His Royal Highness the Governor of Hail Region said during the campaign launch ceremony: “This initiative comes as part of our continuous efforts to strengthen social solidarity and provide support to the most needy families in our beloved Hail Region. We aspire for ‘Awn’ to be a model to follow in organized and impactful charitable work.”
He added: “It is our collective duty as leadership and people to unite and cooperate to serve our community and meet its needs, and this is what we seek to achieve through the ‘Awn’ campaign.”
His Royal Highness announced the allocation of SAR 50 million as initial support for the campaign, calling on businessmen, philanthropists, and community members to contribute to it. He also directed the allocation of a special bank account number to receive donations under the name “Awn Charitable Campaign.”
The campaign has received wide interaction since its launch, as many businessmen and charitable institutions in the region have announced their participation and support for it.
It is worth noting that the Governor of Hail Region enjoys an excellent reputation throughout the Kingdom in the field of charitable and humanitarian work, as His Royal Highness is keen to launch many initiatives and development projects aimed at improving the quality of life in the region.
His Royal Highness emphasized in concluding his speech the importance of sustaining charitable work and expanding its scope to include various segments of society, affirming that the “Awn” campaign is only the beginning of other charitable projects that will be launched in the future, God willing.
