Riyadh Prepares to Host “LEAP 2026″… A Global Tech Conference with 201,000 Visitors and Industry Leaders
The Saudi capital, Riyadh, is preparing to host the fifth edition of the LEAP 2026 conference, one of the world’s leading tech conferences, from February 9 to 12, 2026. The event will feature elite leaders from global and local tech companies, with an expected attendance of 201,000 visitors, 1,000 speakers, and 1,900 investors.
According to the organizers, the conference comes at a time when the global tech sector is seeking new opportunities for growth, investment, and integration, with a focus on the role of innovation in shaping economies, sectors, and societies.
The list of speakers includes Matt Garman, CEO of Amazon Web Services; Justin Hotard, CEO of Nokia; Tariq Amin, CEO of Humain; Andrew Feldman, CEO of Cerebras Systems; Han Jessica Park, Vice President of Ernst & Young; and Chandra Donaldson from the US Space Force, with a focus on topics such as artificial intelligence, data, and advanced technologies.
The program brings together startups and investors across 60 tech sectors, with participation from the Public Investment Fund, the Saudi Venture Investment Company, 500 Global, Rakuten Capital, and 20VC. The conference also includes a new business networking platform and a special program for investors and startups offering $1 million in prizes.
In a statement, Faisal Al-Khamisi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming, and Drones, said: “The LEAP conference has witnessed accelerated development over the past four years and has contributed to supporting talent, investment, and innovation. We expect more success for this leading event, within a scene that reflects the continuous development of the tech sector and continues to inspire creatives from around the world.”
Cumulative figures since the conference’s launch in 2022 show it has attracted more than 688,000 participants across four editions, with 2,480 startups and 6,200 companies participating, and more than 5,000 investors. The 2025 edition saw deals and announcements worth $14.9 billion, while the conference’s economic impact reached $820 million.
The 2026 edition features an expanded program with more than 20 platforms covering areas including climate, health tech, fintech, space tech, and smart cities, with demonstrations of practical solutions and applications. The conference also includes side events such as Deepfest, specializing in artificial intelligence, and GameX Creative, focused on sports technologies.
Organizers announced that the 2026 edition will feature CEOs and innovators from global companies including Google, Amazon Web Services, Luma AI, Advanced Micro Devices, Qualcomm, Cisco, Lenovo, HP, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Huawei, Foxconn, and Cerebras Systems, alongside national companies including STC, Aramco, Elm, Alat, and Humain.
The LEAP 2026 conference reinforces Saudi Arabia’s position as a global destination for tech innovation and contributes to supporting Vision 2030 by diversifying the economy and enhancing the Kingdom’s position as a leading tech hub at the regional and global levels.
